Tetch is a heartwarming story about a small town, a crime involving a prized race horse and a unique woman who though wrongly accused rises above the fray through her own strength and resilience and through the undying support of a community who loves her. In my opinion, it is reminiscent of Jan Karon’s Mitford Series,only with an edge.Myers writing is engaging and credible. The characters come alive on the page through vivid sensory details and plain-talking dialogue. I admire and root for the heroine and the community who supports her. The main themes of good triumphing over evil, the power of community and the strength and resilience of a woman who stands in her truth make this an enjoyable and satisfying read for all ages. What a great role model Tetch is for young women!
This is the first time I have read one of Myers’ many books and reading this entices me to keep reading more of her work.

I was involved with the characters from the first chapter! It has all the elements of a great horse story written by true horse person!
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Tetch and her band of earth mothers. I was engrossed from start to finish!
Tetch is a woman of principle. She is a good person who gives herself to friends, strangers and animals. When a valuable horse disappears, Tetch is the prime suspect. Sticking to her values, she will not divulge any information even though she faces imprisonment and a trial. I loved the people she helped and the experiences they shared. We should all have a Tectch in our lives. She makes the world a better place.
This is an incredible read, one you're going to truly enjoy. The characters are the type of folks you want to know - or maybe your already do. Tetch is the type of character we all want to be. MaryAnn Myers, you've done it again! Thank you for this one - I've bought several and given them as gifts. Keep 'em coming!
No wonder Ms Myers books are so popular. This is a light, fun read in a genre new to me. Her deep experience with horses and their world will draw you in, but you are also in for humor and building suspense that she cranks up to teeth-grinding urgency. TETCH will make you rethink honor, justice, cruelty, and heroism helped my magical powers. A delight for young and old.
I wish that our equine world had more people like Tetch. This is a woman who has the best of friends and does what is right.
History and fiction come together and I only wish that for Alydar....there would have been a Tetch.

A book that touched my heart and gave me hours of reading enjoyment. Thanks to the author, MaryAnn Myers for such a delightful experience. Tetch is a remarkable woman and a true inspiration. A woman who stays steady and true in the face of adversity. This novel is well written, the plot is engaging, with many interesting things to learn. I love the information about herbs and animal care that are an integral part of the story. I like the way each character gets a chance to be heard. I highly recommend Tetch for all readers and also for great gifts.
